Melium Consulting has been retained by the world’s leading premium confectionery manufacturer to identify and attract a Quality Director for its operations in France. This is a critical leadership role responsible for defining and executing the Quality and Food Safety strategy, ensuring alignment with local objectives and global group standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in quality leadership within the food manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record leading quality transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Expertise in QMS, Food Safety, HACCP, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing quality teams.
• Strong analytical capability with data-driven root cause analysis and KPI-driven improvements.

Responsabilités

• Define and lead the Quality and Food Safety strategy in line with business objectives and Group standards.
• Lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System, including audits, certifications, KPIs, and compliance activities.
• Drive quality culture, capability development, and organisational effectiveness across a quality function of ~50 employees.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, Procurement, Supply Chain, Retail, and Co-Manufacturing teams.
• Deliver continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction, process optimisation, consumer satisfaction, and cost of poor quality reduction.

Melium Consulting have been retained by the worlds leading premium confectionary manufacturer to identify and attract a Quality Director for its operations in France.

This is a critical leadership position responsible for defining and executing the Quality and Food Safety strategy, ensuring alignment with both local objectives and global group standards.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening quality performance and embedding a culture of excellence across a complex manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Defining and leading the Quality and Food Safety strategy in line with business objectives and Group standards
• Leading and continuously improving the Quality Management System, including audits, certifications, KPIs, and compliance activities
• Driving quality culture, capability development, and organisational effectiveness across a quality function of approximately 50 employees
• Partnering closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, Procurement, Supply Chain, Retail, and Co-Manufacturing teams
• Delivering continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction, process optimisation, consumer satisfaction, and cost of poor quality reduction

We are interested in speaking with leaders who bring:

• A minimum of 10 years' Quality leadership experience within the food manufacturing industry
• A proven track record of leading quality transformation and continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing environments
• Strong expertise in Quality Management Systems, Food Safety, HACCP, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing quality teams
• Strong analytical capability with experience using data, root cause analysis, and performance metrics to drive measurable improvements
