Job summary

Shift Technology is seeking a QA Engineer Intern to join the QA Engineering Team in a hybrid setup. You will own end-to-end projects that replace manual QA tasks with intelligent tooling, delivering value used by engineers and QA leads daily.

Requirements include being in the final year of a Master 2 or engineering program, strong testing knowledge, Git, and REST APIs, plus a bonus for experience with LLMs, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and dashboards. February 2027 start.

Qualifications

• You are in your final year (BAC+5, Master 2 or engineering school) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data, or AI.
• You have a good grasp of software testing fundamentals, Git, and REST APIs.
• You are autonomous and rigorous, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Nice to have: hands‑on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or agent frameworks; test automation (Playwright, Cypress); CI/CD (GitHub Actions, TeamCity); Docker/Kubernetes; SQL or lightweight dashboards.
• You can provide a 6‑month internship agreement (Convention de stage) signed by your school/university, starting around February 2027.
• Language requirements: English is mandatory at a fluent level (French is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Own an end-to-end project that moves a QA bottleneck from manual effort to intelligent tooling.
• Build tools the QA engineering teams use daily, not a proof of concept.
• Examples include AI-driven release validation, functional coverage analysis, and synthetic data and environment provisioning.
