TheFork is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our Engineering organization within a dedicated Quality Engineering team. You will design and build state-of-the-art test automation frameworks and internal tooling to power quality across all squads, collaborating with developers across Western and Eastern Europe.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or Quality Engineer.
• Strong coding background in TypeScript/JavaScript with a focus on tooling and framework design.
• Proven experience designing automation frameworks from scratch or at scale, ideally with Playwright.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and scale state-of-the-art test automation frameworks and internal tooling (Playwright + TypeScript).
• Own the test ecosystem—repositories, patterns, and long-term codebase health.
• Enable developers to write fast, reliable tests with clean abstractions and reusable components.
• Shape test architecture, including fixture design, data isolation, and environment stability.
• Improve system testability by architecting testable APIs, frontends and data pipelines.
