Air Apps is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and mobile platforms. You will implement automated regression, functional, performance, and API tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing.

You’ll collaborate with developers and product managers to improve testability and detect defects early while expanding test coverage and adopting new automation techniques.

Qualifications

• Around 3+ years of experience in test automation development.
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright).
• Strong experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Experience with version control (Git) and test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr).
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) is a plus.
• Experience testing mobile apps (iOS & Android) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

The Role

As a QA Automation Engineer at Air Apps, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining automated test frameworks and regression test suites to ensure our applications meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to implement automated testing strategies, increase test coverage, and optimize testing efficiency.

Your contributions will directly impact the stability, performance, and reliability of our applications across web and mobile platforms.

• This is a fully onsite position , based at our office in Lisbon, where you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in person and contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We are open to support with relocation efforts.
