Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Python Developer | Automation to join our team at a client’s facility in Paris. The role focuses on developing and maintaining automation solutions using Python, migrating workflows to Airflow, and building automation for alerts and service requests in cloud and on-prem environments.

You will implement scripts in Python, PowerShell and KSH, design database interactions, work across Windows, Linux, and AIX, and collaborate on OpenStack, Docker, and Kubernetes deployments

Qualifications

• PowerShell and KSH scripting proficiency required.
• Automation tools and frameworks experience required.
• Experience with Airflow orchestration required.
• Knowledge of ITIL and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Familiarity with HP Suite (HPOO, HPCSA, HPSA).
• Proficiency with VSCode and version control.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python, PowerShell, and KSH.
• Design and implement database interactions (SQL, MySQL, Postgres).
• Work on OS environments: Windows, Linux, AIX.
• Automate actions and processes across infrastructure.
• Migrate workflows to Airflow and maintain orchestration.
• Implement alert automation and service request automation.
• Collaborate on virtualization and cloud deployments (OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ensure compliance with ITIL methodologies and best practices.
• Document processes and maintain code quality using VSCode and version control tools.
