Stellantis is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) in Sochaux who will represent the company for supplier plants. The SQE will be responsible for ensuring supplier industrial performance during mass production and readiness at launch phases. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Engineering and experience in quality and manufacturing.

The role requires strong communication skills, knowledge of quality methods, and the ability to manage complex technical challenges within a dynamic environment. Regular business travels are expected.

Scope

The SQE is Stellantis’ representative for supplier plants. She / he is responsible for the supplier industrial performance in mass production and supplier readiness during launch phases.

Activity

• Provide SQD plant assessment on new suppliers’ plant according to NSA (New Supplier Assessment)
• Provide to Commodity Quality Champion (CQC) the supplier plant industrial performance for current suppliers
• Manage the industrialization of parts during development phase and ensure the consistency of suppliers’ requested deliverables during development phase
• Accountable for supplier readiness at launch
• Manage the greenfield (new supplier plant)
• Contribute to qualification of product and process for parts or suppliers flagged with high risks – see project RASI
• Measure the production capacity installed by suppliers according to data given by project buyer
• Ensure the industrial performance of suppliers’ sites and manage continuous improvement in mass production
• Check that lessons learned and risks are taken into account by CQC

Profil

Required Knowledge

• English language proficiency (C1)
• Master’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university
• Availability for business trips on a regular basis
• Technical experience: 3 to 5 years in quality and manufacturing
