Chari is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to connect with the Paris community, organize outreach events, and collaborate with local partners to raise awareness and involvement in our projects.

The ideal candidate will have a track record in grant writing, fundraising, and donor relations, with strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders in the non-profit sector.

Job Description

The Community Engagement Coordinator plays a pivotal role in connecting Chari with the community. Responsibilities include organizing outreach events, collaborating with local partners, and implementing initiatives to raise awareness and involvement in our projects.

Job responsibilities

• Lead environmental sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with Chari's mission.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce the organization's environmental footprint.
• Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders on eco-friendly projects.
• Monitor and report on sustainability metrics, promoting awareness within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in grant writing, fundraising, and donor relations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, along with a strategic mindset and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Previous experience in the non-profit sector is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field.
• Practical experience in sustainability program development and implementation.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
• Strong project management skills.
• Commitment to promoting sustainable practices for a better future.
