A global pharmaceutical organisation is seeking a Project Engineer for their facility in Dunkirk, France. The role requires fluency in French and a minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical projects. Responsibilities include engaging with stakeholders, supporting technical project management, and ensuring compliance with SHE standards. This is a 12-month contract requiring presence on site four days a week.

Project Engineer - Northern France - 12-Month Contract

Would you like to work for an established global pharmaceutical organisation investing heavily in CapEx in Northern Europe? If yes, then this is the assignment for you!

Our client, with manufacturing facilities in Northern Europe, is currently investing significantly in their manufacturing programme. This state-of-the-art facility houses high-technology and next-gen processes to produce drugs that are distributed throughout the globe. The site is easily reachable by road, rail, and air, with excellent transport links.

The client is currently seeking the expertise of a Project Engineer.

Responsibilities:
  1. Engage with key stakeholders.
  2. Support the technical project manager.
  3. Engage with local SHE and the client to ensure site experience and requirements are integrated into the design.
  4. Engage with the design manager to assess the SHE impacts of changes.
  5. Update SHE reviews following close-out actions.
  6. Support the technical Project Manager in selecting suitable SHE studies contractors.
  7. Participate in project developments.
  8. Provide input to tier reporting and gate reviews.
Requirements:
  1. French speaking.
  2. Experience in pharmaceutical projects (GMP areas).
  3. Presence 4 days/week in AZ Dunkirk.
  4. MUST be local or willing to relocate.
  5. Minimum 10 years of experience in the field.
  6. Proactive and problem-solving attitude.
