CMA Terminals is seeking a Project Controller intern to join the Global technical portfolio. You will design and deploy a standardized Project Portfolio Dashboard and reporting framework working with CTO, project managers, and engineering teams across countries.

You will define KPIs, consolidate data from multiple sources, and automate reporting processes to support monthly executive reviews and governance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Final-year Master’s student in Engineering or related field.
• Fluent English required; strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI preferred; knowledge of Power Query/Power Automate is a plus.

Project Controller intern - Global technical portfolio

CÂMA Terminals is a port operator used to develop, design, build, own and operate terminals and dry docks. CMA Terminals welcomes CMA CGM lines but also invites all shipping companies to develop terminals and offer a top quality service.

YOUR ROLE

Within the CMATH Technical Department, you will join a worldwide portfolio of strategic investment projects covering terminal expansion, equipment renewal, infrastructure development, decarbonization,electrificationand digital transformation. Working directly with the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), you will design and deploy a standardized Project Portfolio Dashboard and reporting framework covering all projects within the CMATH Technical portfolio, interacting with project managers, engineering teams,financeand business stakeholders across multiple countries.

As part of your studies, you are looking for a transversal internship in Project Portfolio Management (PPM), duration to be confirmed.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Reporting framework : You will design and implement a standardized monthly project portfolio reportingprocess, andsupport the preparation and execution of monthly Executive Portfolio Reviews.

KPI definition : You will define and structure portfolio KPIs and performance indicators in collaboration with the TechnicalDepartment, andbuild a comprehensive Project KPI Catalogue.

Data consolidation : You willconsolidateproject information from multiple sources,countriesand project teams, ensuring the consistency,reliabilityand quality of project data.

Automation : You will automate data collection,consolidationand reporting processes wherever relevant.

Performance monitoring : You willmonitorand analyze project performance across cost/budget, schedule, milestones, risks and opportunities,procurementand key deliverables.

Continuous improvement : You willidentifygaps and opportunities to improve project reporting andgovernance, andsupport the Technical Department in developing a common PPMmethodologyand reporting standards.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education :Final-yearMaster'sstudent from an Engineering School, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Business Analytics, EngineeringManagementor a related field.

Technical skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel, and goodproficiencyin Power BI (data modelling and dashboard development). Knowledge of Power Query and/or Power Automate would be a strong advantage.

Languages : Fluent English isrequired;additionallanguages are an advantage.

Personal qualities : Autonomous, proactive, well-organizedand structured, youare able towork with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities. You havestrong communicationand interpersonal skills, can synthesize complex information into clear management insights, and are comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
