Airbus Cybersecurity SAS in France seeks a Program & Project Commercial/Controlling professional to join our Financial Department in Elancourt. You will support financial management, performance reporting and bid support across cyber security programs.

Be part of a dynamic finance team collaborating with project managers, operations and business development to ensure accurate forecasts, risk assessment and compliant budgeting for France, Benelux and other regions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in finance controlling and reporting across programmes.
  • Familiarity with SAP and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Ability to analyse budgets, forecasts and variance explanations.

Responsabilités

  • Monitor programme financials, including revenue, cost and cash flow.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts and monthly financial commentary.
  • Provide financial bid support, pricing analysis and risk/opportunity assessments.
  • Collaborate with PMs, operations and business development on case evaluations.

Job Description

Airbus Defence & Space is looking for Program & Project Commercial/Controlling (f/h) to join our Financial Department based at Elancourt, France.

You will be supporting the financial management and effective business controlling of the business performed out of the legal entity CyberSecurirty SAS in France. CyberSecurity SAS performs business for France & Benelux, as well as various other countries across Europe and rest of world.

He/she will be in charge of analysing and assessing financial performance, deviations and Risks and Opportunities.

About the job

The jobholder works closely with project managers and operational teams to support successful programme execution, performance reporting, and compliance with processes.

The jobholder contributes to effective financial bid support and programme controlling performed by a local bids & programmes controller:

Programme Controlling
  • Pro-actively follow and challenge programmes order intake, revenues, cost and cash-flows. Monitor and support project reviews and the EAC process.
  • Work-out and update budget and forecast figures of the programme and comment in the monthly reporting
  • Review and analyse variance between plan, forecasts and actual (P&L and BS items)
  • Financial bid support: manage financial part of the bid process, support bid calculations, pricing strategy, risks & opps analysis, support contract negotiations
Budgetary Controlling
  • Drive preparation of bottom-up yearly budget
  • Review and analyse variance between budget and forecasts
  • Analyse and drive opportunities for cost base efficiency (including SLA/service support cost)
R&D Business Partnering
  • Pro-actively follow and challenge R&D spending
  • Project Controlling of R&T projects (bids, cost statements, audit)
  • Finance support to R&D Tax Credit
Ad-hoc missions
  • Drive improvements to our business cases standards and actively drive a number of business cases in particular with Product Management (new product launches, new features, etc.) and Business Development department (notably around partnerships)
  • Finance support to specific partnerships and M&A cases
Key challenges
  • Contribute to finance controlling activities of Cyber Security in France in a challenging, agile and fast evolving business environment.
  • Jobholder will need to work towards the financial target set in the budget/OP, which will entail strong growth in top line, margin and cash improvements.
  • Jobholder will need to have develop understanding of all financial statements, including balance sheet and cash flows.
  • The jobholder will have to perform in a business with various business models (project oriented, products oriented, services oriented).
  • The jobholder will be working closely with the French finance team and will need to show flexibility in handling of the tasks provided to him/her.
Skills
  • Experience in Finance Controlling
  • Good Knowledge of SAP would be beneficial
  • Reliable handling of relevant calculation tools (MS Excel)
  • Ideally Experience in business improvement and transformation projects.
  • Basic contract expertise.
  • Understand customer and competitive environment.
  • Listening, communication and negotiation skills
  • Problem solving skills and can-do, solution-oriented attitude
  • Fluent in French and a good level of English
