Orakl Oncology is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to align the biobank, data science and partnerships into one cohesive platform. You will partner with science leads to translate ambitious goals into executable roadmaps, while embedding product thinking across the platform and stewarding cross-functional delivery.

The role demands 5–7 years in program management in biotech/tech, advanced life sciences training, and strong KPI/OKR experience.

Qualifications

• Min 5-7 years experience, including at least 3 years in program or portfolio management in an industrial, tech or biotech environment.
• An advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in a life sciences, computational biology, computer science or related field
• Understanding of drug discovery and development, ideally in the field of oncology
• Experience building KPIs or OKR reporting
• Exposure to product management or product operations, ideally in a scientific or technical setting
• Comfortable in fast paced environments, navigating ambiguity and adapting plans as things change, without losing the thread and focus
• Genuine curiosity for both data/AI and biology worlds: you enjoy talking metrics and delivery with wet and dry scientists and engineers
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills across all levels of the organisation, up to founder level
• Fluency with the tools we use (or similar ones) to run this: Notion, Asana, SharePoint, and dash-boarding
• Fluent in English

The role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to ensure Orakl's scientific platform operate as one system. Our platform spans severals functions (biobank, R&D, data science, computational biology, and pharma and hospital partnerships), and each one depends on the others to deliver. Your job is to make they work as pillars for the company: aligned on shared goals, coordinated on dependencies, and measured in a way that reflects both the science and the business.

This is a senior, high-ownership role inside Platform and Operations. You will act as a strategic thought partner to the science leads, build and track the program view of the whole platform, keep everyone working from the same roadmap and the same numbers, anticipate where things will break before they do, and make sure our biobank, our external partners, and our internal research all pull in the same direction. You will also help embed a product mindset across the platform and steward our emerging product department, turning strong science and recurring partner demand into clearly scoped, owned products. You will report to the Head of Platform Strategy and Operations, and work daily with the team leads, BD, and the Alliance Manager who owns partner delivery.

What you'll do

1. Run the cross-functional roadmap

• Own the cross-functional work breakdown across biobank, data, computational biology and partnerships: owners, priorities, timelines, interdependencies
• Translate scientific ambitions into executable plans with clear milestones and costs, support each team in building their roadmap and capacity
• Coordinate technical and scientific roadmap execution, identify opportunities and risks, drive remediation, shape priorities with teams

2. Drive operational excellence

• Build and run the KPI framework with the Chief of Staff so each pillar's technical metrics roll up into business and strategic KPIs
• Keep one source of truth for roadmap, KPIs, dependencies and status across Notion, Asana and SharePoint
• Spot optimization possibilities and drive technical scaling

3. Support platform portfolio management

• Support the execution of our virtual patients collection strategy, taking into account scientific and clinical capabilities as well as R&D and business needs
• Contribute to grant writing and manage subsequent collaborative work
• Coordinate and help arbitrate resource allocation to align them with company goals, supporting both internal development and business execution needs
• Coordinate the definition and scoping of R&D bricks supporting the development of our current and future products, aligning Product and R&D teams

What we're looking for

Must have

Nice to have

• Formal project management certification
• Experience in tech, biotech, a CRO or a data-heavy R&D organisation
• Scientific understanding in tumor biology, target discovery or 3D cell models
• Familiarity with biobank or lab operations, and with data and omics pipelines (teams working in GitHub and AWS). You do not need to code, but you should understand how the work flows.
• Experience managing external vendors, consortia, or grant-funded programs
• Experience setting up PMO structure, cadence, and reporting automation from scratch
• French is a plus (the team is based in Paris)
