The ideal candidate will have a degree in chemical/production engineering and at least 10 years of experience with TotalEnergies. Proficiency in Arabic is essential, with English or French as a plus. Description du poste

This position is a unique opportunity to manage the day-to-day Plants operations and First-degree Maintenance programs at an onshore field that produces oil.

Your main duties will be to:

  • Organize the day-to-day Plant activities, managing the operators dispatching, following up tasks execution and reporting feedback to the production superintendent in liaison with the control room.
  • Prepare commissioning procedures.
  • Act as site representative for commissioning and/or startup operations.
  • Supervise the operating parameters of the production and utility process’s/equipment.
  • Organize the execution of level one and level two maintenance including minor repairs on production equipment.
  • Supervise the coordination of the work permit execution, applying precautions/conditions highlighted, ensuring tidiness of the area, and managing the Permit to work tracking system.
  • Advise the Production Superintendent of any potential hazardous situation or changes to operating conditions and implement actions necessary to maintain safe continuous hydrocarbon production.
  • Manage the shift organization of operators under responsibility.
  • Ensure the validity of the well tests according to procedures and well performance program for new wells considering well startup procedure emitted by WPWI Eng.
  • Prepare the daily report.
  • Enforce the waste management philosophy on the Plant.
  • Supervise operations under responsibility as HSE representative regarding the safety and environmental policy.
  • Supervise in person delicate or risky field operations.
  • Assume operational responsibilities as part of the work permit.
  • Ensure that all activities are conducted in respect of HSE Group standards and in accordance with Italian regulations.
  • Promote Company’s HSE and quality policies, rules, procedures, and programs; implement actions to reach Company’s HSE objectives; promote safety and environment awareness.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage the Chemicals supply and monitoring on the Plant if necessary related to responsibilities.
  • Ensure that plants and equipment run according to operating procedures, Company rules and production requests.
  • Supervision of main production parameters, downgraded situations, shifts handover, etc.
  • Ensure that operations activities are conducted in compliance with safety and environmental protection.
Profile

Candidate profile:

Ideally you will have graduated in chemical/production engineering with a minimum experience of 5/10 years in TotalEnergies affiliate within operating in operation.

You are fluent in Arabic, and fluency in English or French would be an advantage.

You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
