Job summary

VALD in Strasbourg is seeking a Production & Operations assistant to join the team. The role covers hands-on assembly, diagnostics, and coordinating shipping for global clients, with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

You will work closely with a cross-functional team to ensure product readiness, perform warranty and asset tracking, and help maintain smooth warehouse operations in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Adaptable and willing to learn new skills and processes.
• Experience with hand and power tools and experience in a component assembly role.
• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to interpret instructions and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Instigating repair workflows, including diagnostics, repair scheduling, documentation, and internal communication.
• Working with SOP's and Instructions, following flows and expected troubleshooting steps.
• Preparing products for shipping in a timely manner so that the carriers can collect and distribute.
• Asset location tracking and warranty card completion.
• Capable of overseeing daily shipping activities, including carrier coordination, shipment tracking, and resolution of delivery issues.

About The Position

We have plenty of growing left to do, so we are looking for a Production & Operations assistant to join our team in our Strasbourg office.

What You Will Do

• Full working rights in the EU, and no restrictions to travel to VALD HQ in Australia
• Experience with hand and power tools and experience in a component assembly role.
• Exceptional Mechanical aptitude with the ability to problem solve.
• Physically unrestricted to work in an operations/ warehouse environment (EU Office, Strasbourg).
