We have a simple yet ambitious goal; to sell train tickets in the easiest way possible for all European destinations. Booking a train should be just as simple as hopping on a train.

Capitaine Train was founded by 3 engineers obsessed with simplicity. Our organisational structure is very simple and linear: those who make product decisions are the same ones who build them. We are a young and small start-up (40 people) and we are growing very quickly. Your work will have a direct and visible impact on the growth of our company.

Job Description

You

You want to be in charge of a great product and create the best experience for every train traveller in Europe. You are able to communicate both the business and technical rationale behind your product decisions. Whether you do it on paper, Keynote or Sketch, you know how to share your ideas efficiently and your colleagues always love your creative and elegant solutions.

Role

You will lead the product vision and strategy by working closely with developers, designers, customer specialists and the direction. You will be the customer voice inside the development team, by understanding their problems and their goals. You will define the roadmap along with the other members with the executive team and you will make sure that all the new features will be shipped on time with maximum quality.

Since the beginning CaptainTrain has always been a strong product and not just another travel e-commerce website. You will be our first Product Manager. You’ll get your hands dirty but be sure that you’ll have a great impact on our product.

Qualifications

Requirements

• 3 years experience in Product Management in a product-focused company,
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,

• Ability to extract information from large amount of product data.

Pluses

• Experience with any programming languages,
• Experience in Product Design.
