Typology is the first skincare brand launched by Good Brands, an ambitious project to build a new generation of digital first consumer brands. Founded in 2019 by serial entrepreneur Ning Li, Typology became the #1 selling skincare brand online in France and operates also in Germany, the USA and Japan.

Headquarters – Paris, 11th arrondissement

Mission:

We are looking for a freelance expert in business strategy / haircare product innovation with strong knowledge of the market and the specific requirements of clean and natural cosmetics.

The objective is to identify growth levers and, in collaboration with the teams, define a product portfolio and innovation pipeline aligned with consumer expectations and the brand’s vision.

Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio & Market Analysis: Conduct an in-depth audit of the brand’s product portfolio, as well as a targeted market study (trends, competition, consumer expectations).
  • Opportunity Identification: Detect relevant innovation and development opportunities for the brand, taking into account clean & natural constraints.
  • Innovation Plan Definition: Design and prioritize a product innovation roadmap consistent with the brand’s strategy and formulation guidelines.
  • Synthesis & Recommendations: Deliver clear, actionable, and operational recommendations to guide the next strategic steps.
Specific Skills:
  • Strong expertise in haircare products and in-depth knowledge of the clean & natural haircare market
  • Sharp market insight analysis and ability to identify concrete innovation opportunities
  • Experience in defining and prioritizing a product innovation roadmap
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills
  • Fluent in both French and English
