A global digital transformation leader in France is seeking an experienced software engineer to create, maintain, and support software components within their HPC cloud platform. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of professional experience, hands-on expertise with container orchestration, and a solid understanding of cloud technologies. This position involves designing functionalities, implementing features, and providing deployment support among other responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with container orchestration technologies, preferably Kubernetes.
• Working experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azure.

Creates, maintains, and supports software components within the Atos-Nimbix HPC cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify functionality
• Implement feature requests and bug fixes
• Create automated tests
• Create and maintain documentation for operating the software
• Support or advise on customer deployments when required
• Participate in the Engineering process as directed

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or more in computer science, computer engineering
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer
• Hands‑on experience with Linux – Hands‑on experience with container orchestration technologies, preferably Kubernetes
• Working experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azure
• Working knowledge of containers (such as Docker)
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell or Python
• Strong knowledge of at least one of C/C++, Java, or Golang

Preferred skills

• At least 10 years of professional experience as a software engineer, with technical leadership responsibilities
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud orchestration technologies – Terraform, Helm Charts
• Experience with HPC (high performance computing), either in platform or application domains
• Experience with REST API services
• Experience working in Agile teams using the Scrum process
