BeReal is seeking a product design professional to scale a social consumer app with Gen Z in mind. You will conduct deep user research to uncover needs, propose pragmatic solutions, and drive initiatives from concept to high-fidelity prototypes.

You will own end-to-end design flows, balance aesthetics with business impact, and help evolve our design system.

• Experience in scaling consumer apps, especially for Gen Z.
• Strong user research skills and ability to translate insights into design.
• Autonomous, results-driven, and capable of delivering end-to-end flows.

Responsabilités

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to identify problems and opportunities.
• Propose pragmatic design solutions and estimate business impact.
• Prioritize initiatives and drive design from wireframes to end-to-end flows.
• Design interfaces that are simple, elegant, and detailed, aligning with business goals.
• Identify metrics to improve and own outcomes, collaborating with engineers.
• Implement, test, and iterate with the technical team and contribute to the design system.

Role

BeReal’s product team is a small group of high-performers reporting directly to the CEO. We operate at the intersection of data science, engineering, design, and operations. Highly autonomous and skilled across multiple areas, each member of the team is expected to identify opportunities, design high-impact solutions, drive implementation, and assess results.

Conduct qualitative and quantitative research of user behavior and needs. Identify key problems and opportunities

Propose pragmatic solutions and estimate business impact.

Contribute to prioritizing initiatives.

From wire-framing to designing end-to-end flows and prototypes, design features that solve problems in a simple and elegant way while taking care of every small detail.

Identify key metrics your solutions should improve and take ownership for achieving success.

Implement, test, and iterate with the technical team.

Contribute to building and improving our design system.

You can both hack together a quick prototype and implement a scalable design system.
