Eramet Ideas seeks a Process Modelling Engineer to develop and validate process models and deliverables for new metallurgical processes and pilot facilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive innovations in extractive metallurgy and related areas.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an engineering school with a major in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial process modelling in relevant industries.
• Proficiency in Aspen+ is mandatory; knowledge of Metsim/HSCSim is a plus.
• Fluent English is mandatory in an international environment.
• Strong programming skills in Python are requested.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and validate engineering deliverables for new processes and equipment from early studies to commissioning of pilots.
• Model industrial processes using Aspen+, Metsim, and HSCSim and optimize unit operations.
• Create and review process diagrams, material and energy balances, and instrument specifications.
• Collaborate with R&D, technical experts and external partners to ensure safety and compliance.
• Support risk analyses (HAZOP) and quality management within Eramet Ideas.
