ORIL Industrie, a Servier subsidiary, Bolbec site, leads and inspires a team of scientists to design, optimize and scale synthetic processes for future drug candidates.

Located in Normandy, this CHAD department role works at the interface of R&D and industry, driving CMC activities for small molecules, ASOs, and ADCs with international collaboration.

Qualifications

• PhD or engineering degree in organic chemistry with strong synthesis expertise.
• Proven leadership and ability to communicate a clear technical vision.
• Experience in a CMC environment is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Lead and inspire a team of ~10 scientists in designing, optimizing, and scaling synthetic processes for drug candidates.
• Interface between R&D and industry, managing CHAD activities for small molecules, ASOs, and ADCs.
• Drive on-time delivery of materials for preclinical and clinical studies while controlling cost and quality.
• Coordinate internal work and external partnerships with a 60% external / 40% internal focus.

The Mission

As Process Chemistry Team Leader, you will lead and inspire a team of approximately 10 scientists (a mix of Research Engineers/PhDs and Technicians) dedicated to the design, optimization, and scale-up of synthetic processes for future drug candidates.

Operating at the interface between R&D and Industry, you will be a key player in the CHAD (Chemical and Analytical Development) department, managing activities for small molecules, ASOs, and ADCs.
