Meta seeks a motivated and organized team player to join our European Privacy and Data Policy team. You will work on strategic engagement and outreach with privacy and data policy stakeholders in the EU. This will involve working on cutting-edge data policy issues and building relationships with key stakeholders. The role will involve proactive policy development, project management, and the creation of networks across different sectors. You will work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and present to both internal and external audiences. This role involves working on novel public policy issues. The ideal candidate has a track record of public engagement (e.g., published thought leadership, conference speaking, or advisory roles) in the EU data and privacy community and is comfortable operating independently at senior levels both externally and internally. They will be detail-oriented and strategic, able to adapt quickly, build credibility and trust across all levels of the organisation, and coordinate with cross-functional leads on time- and mission-critical issues spanning policy, legal, communications, product, and engineering. This person will be highly organised, resilient and effective at prioritizing competing demands and delivering results in time-sensitive scenarios and reports to the Director of Data and Privacy Policy, EMEA.
