THE COMPANY AT THE HEART OF TACTICAL RPG :
As part of its expansion, TACTICAL ADVENTURES is looking to add a Principal / Senior 3D Character Artist to its ranks.
Reporting to the Art Director, you will be responsible for :
- Establish production guidelines for characters and creatures for internal and external teams.
- Model (High and Low Poly) and texture (UV, baking, textures) characters and creatures on the basis of concept art, in compliance with the design documents and technical constraints.
- Work closely with our Lead Animator to ensure models are seamlessly integrated.
- Ensure quality control on models produced externally by validating the various stages of production (tasks may change depending on the candidate's interest).
These tasks may evolve depending on the candidate's profile and interest in the position.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU :
- You must have experience in a similar position in video game development for at least 5 years.
- A management experience could be a plus (depending on your profile, the jobdesk may include management tasks).
- You are familiar with ZBrush and Substance Painter and have some knowledge of Unreal Engine 5.
- You're interested in medieval and fantasy worlds.
NICE TO HAVE :
- You are fluent in English or have a good foundation.
- You have knowledge of the Software: Character Creator (at least version 4).
- You are rigorous, organised, autonomous, a self‑starter, a good communicator and comfortable working as part of a team.
- You're familiar with role‑playing games, especially Dungeons & Dragons, and you have a good sense of humour.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS :
- First interview: HR/Production with our HR Manager and our Production Director.
- Second interview: Technical & Human Skills with our Art Director & our Lead 3D Environment Artist.
