Prince Service and Manufacturing in Macon, GA is seeking a Band Saw Operator to cut materials to specified shapes and ensure safe machine operation. You will read blueprints, measure parts, and follow ISO safety procedures while maintaining a clean, organized Fab department.

Responsibilities include operating the band saw, inspecting parts, documenting actions, and adhering to quality policies. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate the English language and follow verbal and written instruction.
• Must have excellent listening skills.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Must be proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• Must be proficient in reading a tape measure.

Responsabilités

• Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
• Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures.
• Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Operation of Band Saw.
• Cut material to correct lengths.
• Keeps track of materials in Fab department and alerts supervision when running low.
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Documents actions with correct forms.
• Willing to perform other manufacturing tasks as directed and when needed. Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions. Other duties as assigned by Management.
