Harmattan AI in Paris seeks a Navigation Engineer for the Precise Navigation team. You will design high-precision navigation and PNT solutions for autonomous platforms, focusing on tightly-coupled IMU/GNSS filtering and robustness to jamming/spoofing, from concept to field deployment.

You will work with Navigation, Radar, software and EW teams to ensure performance, robustness and reliability across systems, with emphasis on rigorous testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical background with good physical intuition.
• Experience with GNSS, INS/IMU and navigation/estimation filters (e.g. Kalman filtering).
• Experience with navigation in GNSS-denied/contested environments.
• Familiarity with RF and EW constraints (GNSS jamming/spoofing).
• Solid software/algorithm skills; combine algo + software.

Responsabilités

• Navigation Architecture: drive architecture/implementation of navigation/PNT for autonomous platforms.
• Resilient PNT: develop navigation resistant to GNSS degradation, jamming, spoofing.
• Sensor Fusion: design multi-sensor fusion (GNSS, INS/IMU, RF, vision) and estimation algorithms.
• Testing & Validation: design test plans, run simulations/replays, report on performance.
• Technical Coordination: collaborate across HW, software, EW and ML teams.
• System Reviews & Documentation: contribute to design reviews and maintain requirements traceability.
