Job summary

AlpSemi is seeking a Semiconductor Technology Characterization Engineer in Toulouse to lead characterization of materials and devices and support modeling efforts for electrification applications.

You will analyze experimental results, drive TCAD simulations, and work closely with the design team to improve device performance and reliability. CDI, on-site, based in Toulouse, with opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge power switch technology.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or PhD in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in wafer and device characterization.
• TCAD and simulation skills required.
• Autonomous, rigorous, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage technology characterization, including material characterization and some electrical device characterization.
• Process characterization data and analyze results.
• Actively support TCAD simulation activities.
• Collaborate closely with the design team to share insights and improve component performance.
