Postdoctoral Researcher in Digital Economy and Digital Platform Management

About This Opportunity

Institut Mines-Télécom Business School is recruiting a 12-month postdoc to study digital-economy and platform-management questions through the ANR PROPEOS project on recommendation systems and the MACMIA project on AI education.

This postdoctoral appointment combines research on digital platforms, recommendation systems and artificial intelligence across two active projects. Within the ANR-funded PROPEOS project, the researcher will examine how recommendation systems affect consumer choices; within MACMIA, the work connects to questions surrounding AI education. The role is methodologically flexible but strongly data-driven: the vacancy explicitly seeks quantitative analysis using tools such as Stata, R and Python and/or qualitative-computational approaches including text mining and natural-language processing. Daily work includes analysing datasets, conducting literature reviews, preparing academic papers, participating in research seminars and presenting results at national and international conferences. The postdoc may also teach or lead project-related tutorials. Knowledge of online media, recommendation systems and AI is central to the position, while interviewing ability and English are listed as additional assets.
