Job summary

Inria Rennes Centre seeks a Post-Doctorant to develop real-time, deep-learning analyses classifying bovine embryo morphokinetics from time-lapse video. You will craft online models that predict with confidence at early time points and work toward lab-agnostic robustness across settings and species.

The project emphasizes reproducible software delivery and dissemination through publications, with supervision by an experienced team. Fluency in English is expected; French is a bonus.

Qualifications

• PhD in computer science, ML, or CV is required.
• Strong expertise in deep learning for video/image sequences.
• Proven scientific track record with publications.
• Ability to communicate in English; French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time, deep-learning tools for embryo classification.
• Process video streams incrementally and output predictions with confidence.
• Evaluate earliness-vs-accuracy and determine early decision points.
• Deliver usable, documented software and publish results.
