Nantes Université is seeking a Recognised Researcher (Postdoc) for the Open Innovation Collective on Sustainable Water Management, focusing on PFAS pollution in the Pays de la Loire region. The project spans air, water, soil, and food matrices, with cross-disciplinary work and regional impact.

The role involves developing sampling strategies, applying advanced analytical methods (including HS/SS and TOP approaches), and validating approaches across environmental matrices.

Qualifications

• PhD in analytical chemistry or environmental science and technology.
• Experience in analytical development. Thorough understanding of extraction principles, quantification using internal standards, and method validation.
• Experience in environmental sampling and both targeted (SS) and non-targeted (NTS) analysis would be an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Identify and quantify PFAS in air, water, soil, and seafood matrices.
• Develop sampling strategy for exposure assessment at campus (Tertre) and municipal (Pornic) scales.
• Implement analytical strategies for identification/quantification with targeted and non-targeted analyses; validate methods and share results with stakeholders.
