The Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL) in Grenoble invites applications for a postdoctoral scientist in the LSS Group, focusing on neutron reflectometry and soft matter at interfaces. You will co-run the D17 reflectometer and support experiments, guiding data analysis and user collaborations.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in physics, biophysics or physical chemistry, with experience in soft matter or biological systems at solid/liquid interfaces and some software development experience.

Qualifications

• PhD in physics, biophysics or physical chemistry.
• Experience in soft matter or biological systems at solid/liquid interfaces is desirable.
• English knowledge is required; willingness to learn French (language course provided).

Responsabilités

• Co-running the D17 reflectometer, contributing to daily operation and upgrades.
• Providing user support for experiments and guiding data analysis.
• Promoting scientific partnerships and contributing to instrumentation development.
