Job summary

1000scholars seeks a post-doctoral researcher to study grant-free access techniques for IoT, focusing on IRSA-based methods and their integration with practical physical-layer features in cell-free networks. The project includes real experiments on CortexLab at INSA/Inria Lyon using SRK and Sionna tools.

The position is 12 months, based at Inria Saclay, with collaboration across sites and partners. Start and end dates are flexible within administrative constraints.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent programming skills in Python and knowledge of ML frameworks.
• Strong background in telecom theory, random access, and ML or AI applied to telecommunications.
• Experience in SDR programming is a plus; familiarity with Sionna is beneficial.
