Qualifications

• Required: Ph.D. in Astronomy, Astrophysics, or a closely related field completed prior to the start date.
• Big-picture vision to tackle transformative astrophysical questions and connect local galactic physics with early-universe disk assembly.
• Self-starter drive: highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of driving independent projects to high-impact publication.
• Technical proficiency: experience with large-scale astronomical survey data and automated analyses.
• Collaborative mindset to integrate into Marseille research environment and work with co-supervisors and faculty.
• Collaborative leadership: ability to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, lead initiatives, and mentor team members.
• Synthetic & creative reasoning: connect datasets and theory to form novel hypotheses in galaxy evolution.
• Languages: ENGLISH level Excellent.
