The LCOMS laboratory at Université de Lorraine invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher to advance contactless photoplethysmography (rPPG/iPPG) and its application to physiological parameters.

The project combines signal processing, machine learning and computer vision to extract cardiovascular information from video. The successful candidate will publish in international journals and participate in the AM2I Excellence Postdoctoral Programme 2027.

Qualifications

• PhD in signal processing, AI/ML, biomedical engineering or closely related discipline.
• Strong expertise in physiological signal processing, PPG/rPPG/iPPG, biomedical signal analysis, deep learning, image and video processing, experimental data acquisition and analysis.

Responsabilités

• Publish the research results in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Design experiments and evaluate proposed methods using physiological reference measurements or datasets.
• Contribute to the design of new experimental protocols where required.
• Collaborate with the host laboratory to develop a broader scientific framework for camera-based, non-invasive monitoring.
