This mission is part of the ECOCHEM project developed within the PEPR SPLEEN. The objective is to carry out work aimed at understanding the parameters that make it possible to optimize the photocatalytic response under pressure and temperature.
The position is based at the Institute of Research on Catalysis and the Environment of Lyon (IRCELYON), located on the Villeurbanne – La Doua campus. The laboratory is a joint research unit between CNRS and the University of Lyon, bringing together heterogeneous catalysis expertise from the Lyon region to form the largest catalysis laboratory in France and Europe. The laboratory has 115 permanent researchers, along with a similar number of PhD students and postdoctoral researchers. IRCELYON, an academic research laboratory fully dedicated to heterogeneous processes, focuses its research activities on sustainable development challenges.
The project is part of the ECOCHEM project within the PEPR SPLEEN. The ECOCHEM project aims to establish innovative catalytic technologies, notably through the coupling of catalysis with auxiliary promotion tools, including light, via so-called "assisted" catalysis. The purpose of this topic is therefore to evaluate the characteristics of a given semiconductor likely to positively influence the photocatalytic response under pressure and temperature.
The position is located in a sector subject to the protection of scientific and technical potential (PPST), and therefore requires, in accordance with regulations, that your arrival be authorized by the competent authority of the MESR.
PhD candidate in chemistry, inorganic chemistry, process chemistry, and environment
Solid knowledge of materials synthesis and photocatalysis is required
