Synapsco is seeking a Project Control Specialist in Lyon to develop project control tools and manage project budgets. The role includes monitoring performance and supporting project managers with risk assessments and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have 5-12 years of experience in a similar field and will be comfortable coordinating multiple projects. The position operates in a hybrid model with an initial duration until the end of the year and possible extension.

• 5-12 years of experience in Planning / Project Control.
• Prior experience in a similar role is mandatory.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Develop project control methodologies and tools.

• Review, control, and validate invoices.
• Report financial data to the Finance Department.

Description du poste

Responsibilities

• Develop project control methodologies and tools (cost control & scheduling)
• Monitor and analyze project performance against the budget, identify variances, and propose corrective actions
• Support project managers in controlling actual expenditures, forecasting future costs, and managing risks and contingencies
• Review, control, and validate invoices
• Report financial information to the Finance Department for accounting closings
• Develop performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting tools (dashboards, reports)
• Participate in project reviews and audits and implement identified improvements
• Be responsible for the overall project schedule management and monitoring
• Lead multi-disciplinary planning meetings
• Analyze the schedule impact of changes against contractual milestones and communicate them
• Measure project progress and identify deviations
• Regularly communicate schedule status to the Project Manager and other project stakeholders

• 30 minutesfrom Lyon by car
• Frequenttrain access + 10-minute walk from the station

Work setup

• Hybrid
• Initial duration: until end of year
• Possible extension: 2–3 years

Travel

• Occasional trips to Paris or Aix-en-Provence
• Expenses reimbursed (train mainly)
