Danone invites a motivated intern to join their Research and Innovation Center in Gif-sur-Yvette for a 6-month placement starting February 2027. You will work under the Senior Plant-Based Scientific Affairs Manager to study nutritional quality, guide innovation strategies, and perform literature and competitive analyses.

Ideal candidates are Bac+4/5 in Nutrition/Science with strong English, curiosity, autonomy, and a drive to learn in a global setting.

Qualifications

• Available Jan/Feb 2027 for 6 months.
• Bac+4/5 in university or engineering school with specialization in Nutrition and Science.
• Ability to read and work in English (scientific literature).
• Motivated to deepen knowledge on plant-based products.
• Curious, autonomous, proactive, rigorous and eager to learn in a dynamic international setting.
• Motivated to work in a cross-functional environment (R&I, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs).
• Strong ability to research and critically analyze scientific publications in nutrition, food science & public health domains.
• Excellent communication and science‑simplification skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop a solid understanding of Danone plant-based products nutritional quality.
• Support the development of science-based recommendations for innovation/renovation and nutrition plans.
• Perform scientific literature reviews supported by genAI on plant-based strategic territories.
• Conduct a scientific and competitive intelligence review for FMCG plant-based products.
• Analyze competitors’ scientific strategies and innovation pipelines via publications, clinical studies, patents and conferences.
• Develop a scientific competition landscape with actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
