A leading research institution in Grenoble seeks a PhD student for a project on the structural study of lipid interfaces. The successful candidate will collaborate with L’Oréal and gain access to advanced research facilities. Candidates must hold a master's degree in a relevant field and have a strong interest in structural characterization of biological materials. English proficiency and compliance with the Marie Skłodowska-Curie mobility rule are required. The position offers a dynamic research environment in neutron science.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must hold a master's degree by the call deadline.
  • Non-native English speakers need to provide proof of English proficiency.
  • Candidates must not already possess a doctoral degree at recruitment.

Responsabilités

  • Conduct structural characterization of the corneocyte-lipid interface.
  • Collaborate with L’Oréal on cutting-edge research.
  • Participate in a varied pedagogical training programme during the PhD.

Connaissances

Strong interest in structural characterization of complex biological materials
Experience in scattering methods, soft matter, or microscopy
Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and international environment
Validated English proficiency test (B2 level)

Formation

Master degree or equivalent in physics, chemistry, physical chemistry, soft matter, biophysics
