Association Bernard Gregory is recruiting for a PhD candidate on the PRISM programme in Paris, hosted by ESPCI Paris in collaboration with PSL. The project focuses on seawater CO2 capture using microelectrode arrays and advanced electrochemical reactor engineering.

The successful candidate will work across electrochemistry, materials science, and reactor design, with international collaboration and a competitive net monthly salary of about €2,200 plus mobility and family allowances.

Qualifications

  • Solid background in electrochemistry, electrode kinetics, mass transport, and interfacial phenomena.
  • Experience with catalyst synthesis, materials characterization, and electrochemical reactor operation.
  • Strong interest in interdisciplinary research at the electrochemistry/materials science interface.

Responsabilités

  • Design and optimize microstructured MEA-based reactors for CO2 capture and conversion.
  • Collaborate with PSL/ESPCI partners on modelling, experimentation, and operando characterization.
  • Publish research findings and contribute to project milestones and reports.
