The PhD will take place at LAAS-CNRS (Toulouse), within the team specializing in microwave and millimetre-wave circuits, under the supervision of Hervé Aubert (LAAS) et Alexei Chepelianskii (LPS). It is part of the ANR HELIQUANT project (48 months, coordinated by LPS), a consortium bringing together LAAS, LPS, FAST, and UTINAM.

Qualifications

• PhD studentship in a microwave/millimetre-wave research environment.
• Experience with microwave characterisation and EM simulations is desirable.
• Familiarity with anisotropic conductivities and resonator design is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design and model WGM resonators for 100–200 GHz.
• Perform 3D EM simulations and analytical modeling.
• Collaborate with LAAS/LPS teams and participate in measurements.
