Assignments :
With the support of the supervisor, the recruited researcher will conduct a state-of-the-art review to identify recent solutions and approaches for the identification and detection of mobile devices based on their signal emissions.
An initial framework has already been developed by the team, and both the source code and datasets are openly accessible. The researcher will build upon this existing framework and investigate potential improvements and extensions.
The developed solution is expected to be energy-aware and designed to operate effectively on resource-constrained devices. The solution should be automitized and dynamically adapt to different environments.

Technical and software skills and level required :
The recruited PhD should be with a good background in networking and telecommunications, as well as in signal processing and AI.
Ideally, it should have experience to deal with real connected devices and implemnet experimental validation.
