A leading European research facility in Grenoble is seeking a PhD student to study multistate spintronics. The position involves working in a high-level research environment, exploring novel materials' magnetic properties using advanced neutron diffraction techniques. Responsabilités
- Join the diffraction group at ILL to study spintronics.
- Investigate samples using neutron diffraction and analysis techniques.
- Work on controllable multistate memory states in materials.
Connaissances
Hands-on experience with neutron and x-ray diffraction
Theoretical understanding of neutron scattering and magnetism
Experience with density functional theory
Experience in statistics and programming
Proficiency in English
Formation
Master’s degree in physics or equivalent qualifications
