A global aerospace leader is seeking a PhD Student in signal processing and psychoacoustics to join their Human Factors Department in Toulouse, France. The candidate will involve in multidisciplinary research aimed at developing concepts for future cockpits and enhancing speech intelligibility through sound spatialization. A Master's degree in psychoacoustics or auditory signal processing is required, along with strong motivation and advanced English skills. Qualifications

  • Graduated to a master 2 degree in psychoacoustics and/or auditory signal processing.
  • Strong motivation to accompany human factors activities and support experiments over a period of 3 years.
  • Proactive, motivated and organized.
  • Advanced level of English (verbal and written).
  • French would be an asset.

Responsabilités

  • Contribute to the development of solutions for spatialization of communications in the cockpit.
  • Involved in multidisciplinary research tackling human factors, signal processing, and psychoacoustics.
  • Establish contributions of specific spatial sound processing to localization abilities.
