IJCLab seeks a PhD student to work on using Simons Observatory data to extract the kinetic Sunyaev-Zeldovich contribution from the CMB power spectrum. The project aims to model local and reionization components to derive robust cosmological constraints.
Based in the CMB team at IJCLab, with strong international collaboration including Berkeley, the PhD offers exposure to cutting-edge data-analysis, modelling of SZ effects, and joint supervision by Thibaut Louis and Léo Vacher.
