Phagos in Suresnes, Île-de-France, is seeking an exceptional lab technician to join our Lab Ops team, collaborating with research scientists to advance phage therapy. You will perform routine microbiology tests, culture bacteria, isolate and characterize phages, and help scale up innovative lab processes.

The role requires hands-on microbiology skills, adaptability in a fast-paced, collaborative setting, strong English (minimum B2), and a drive to learn and contribute to animal health

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with microbiology techniques.
• Ability and willingness to work within a fast-paced, adaptive, collaborative environment.
• Knowledge/experience in phage biology is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Organized, self-motivated, and ready to learn.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine microbiological tests with precision and efficiency
• Culture bacteria, isolate and characterize phages
• Collaborate with scientists to design and execute phage-based strategies targeting key pathogens
• Follow and help refine protocols, ensuring accuracy, safety, and reproducibility
• Support the development, scale-up, and validation of innovative lab processes
• Keep meticulous records and analyze experimental data
