Qualifications

• 14+ years in performance engineering, incl. 5+ years as Architect/Lead Consultant.
• Experience leading performance assessments for senior management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, App Service, and autoscaling.
• Hands-on with APM tools: New Relic, Datadog, Azure Monitor.
• Experience in workload modelling using production logs and analytics.
• Hands-on with performance testing tools: LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad.
• Experience developing performance testing strategies, NFRs, and release gates.
• Strong tuning of .NET apps & SQL databases.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Engineering Architect to lead performance engineering strategy, architecture assessments, workload modelling, and performance optimization across cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, application performance monitoring, performance testing, and capacity planning, along with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Job Requirements

• 14+ years of experience in performance engineering, including 5+ years as a Performance Architect or Lead Consultant.
• Experience leading performance assessments and presenting findings to senior management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including App Service, Azure SQL Managed Instance, autoscaling, and capacity planning.
• Hands-on experience with APM tools such as New Relic, Datadog, and Azure Monitor.
• Experience in workload modelling using production logs and analytics, including peak traffic and concurrency.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or NeoLoad.
• Experience developing performance testing strategies, NFRs, and release quality gates.
• Strong experience in .NET application and SQL database performance tuning.
• Good understanding of application architecture and cloud technologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead technical workshops and present findings to senior management.
