Joko, a Paris-based AI shopping app, is hiring a People Business Partner to support our French population and collaborate cross-country. You will partner with managers on performance, compensation, and mobility while safeguarding fairness and compliance.

This foundational hire will help scale our PeopleOps processes as we grow globally, with occasional cross-country duties and AI-driven initiatives. You will lead onboarding, performance cycles, career planning, and L&D, building trust with

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in People Operations with a focus on HR Business Partnering topics.
• Solid grounding in French labor law (Convention Collective Syntec is a plus).
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Be a real partner to managers; empower teams and understand the why behind People processes.
• Guard fairness; enforce rules and guide exceptions with justification.
• Handle sensitive employee situations and investigations with judgment and care.
• Lead onboarding, performance cycles, career projections, mobility, and L&D processes with the People Ops team.
• Create a strong Day 1 experience and continuously improve onboarding rituals.
• Build trust while maintaining confidentiality and boundaries.
• Stay aligned with labor law in collaboration with People Ops.
