A leading sustainable packaging company is seeking a Shared Service Analyst in France to manage payroll processes. The role involves coordinating between payroll service providers and internal departments while ensuring compliance and accuracy in payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 2 years of payroll experience, and strong skills in SAP and Microsoft Excel. Position overview

The Shared Service Analyst will act as internal payroll specialist and maintain contact with external payroll provider. This role will be responsible for all payroll processing and reporting requirements, both weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring all payroll compliance are understood and delivered and delivering all payroll related reconciliations, reporting, actual and forecast/budget.

Key responsibilities include
  • Own the payroll process locations and ensure all payroll and employee related reporting are carried out timely and accurately while adhering to predefined SLA’s.
  • Responsible for coordination efforts between payroll service provider, human resources, pensions and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data.
  • Review the accuracy of payroll reports produced by ADP or other relevant provider, ensuring all necessary changes have been accurately captured such as joiners, leavers, allowances, bonus, deductions, bonus, pensions etc.
  • Communicate any errors / issues with ADP or other relevant provider and ensure that they are corrected prior to payment.
  • Track payroll processing errors post payroll.
  • Ensure long term incentive plan and short term bonus payments are carried out on time and delivered accurately.
  • Responsible to have payroll approved and paid on time and ensure that the contributions to pensions are made within the timeline stipulated.
  • Prepare payroll journals and post into the appropriate SAP on a timely manner. Also ensure that all necessary payroll recharges are made accordingly.
  • Provide the necessary pensions reporting such as contributions, starters and leavers etc.
  • Provide support and manage expat payroll related queries with HR and external advisors when needed.
  • Provide the required expatriate payslips and any other payroll information on a monthly and ad hoc basis.
What are we looking for?
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or Finance
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in payroll experience
  • Working knowledge of SAP, ADP processing knowledge would be a plus
  • Microsoft office (advanced Excel)
  • High concern for detail and accuracy
  • Fluent English language
  • Fluency in Czech is required for applicants based in the Czech Republic
