Job summary

Lemonway, a regulated payments institution in Paris, is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Payments Tribe. You will report to the Engineering Manager and collaborate with eight engineers across Core Banking and Payments.

You will drive feature development, testing, monitoring, and integration with payment APIs and core banking systems, contributing to the next generation card payments and cash management platforms. Hybrid work with two remote days per week.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French and good command of English, strong in software engineering practices.
• Professional experience developing services with modern .NET and C#, and working knowledge of SQL Server, RabbitMQ, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of distributed systems and microservice architectures, with Domain-Driven Design and Hexagonal Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Technical craftsmanship: deliver evolvable features balancing code quality and delivery time, review code and share insights.
• Domain ownership: own products from specification to production issues, ensure alignment with business value.
• Teamwork: collaborate with software, QA, and infra engineers, and coordinate with office, remote, and nearshore colleagues.
