Responsabilidades

• Agir en conseiller technique de nos intégrateurs gérés en France, soutenant les opportunités client avec conseils d'architecture.
• Accompagner les partenaires AWS dans la définition de stratégies techniques pour améliorer leur offre sur AWS.
• Faire progresser la maturité technique des partenaires en les guidant vers les AWS Competencies et les Specializations.
• Partager les meilleures pratiques avec la communauté Solution Architect et encadrer les membres juniors.
• Évangéliser les services AWS auprès de la communauté de partenaires en France et Europe Sud (workshops, sommits).
• Collaborer avec les ventes, partenaires et ingénierie pour assurer le succès des partenaires et l'adoption des services AWS.
• Contribuer à la rédaction de contenus techniques (whitepapers, architectures de référence).
• Participer à des discussions techniques complexes avec partenaires et clients et proposer des solutions innovantes.
• Influencer la stratégie technique régionale et contribuer à des initiatives multi-pays.

Are you passionate about helping partners solve complex technical challenges and leveraging cloud computing technologies to drive innovation? Do you have a talent for explaining intricate application architectures and integration approaches to C-level stakeholders? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior Partner Solutions Architect (PSA) in France.

As a senior member of our Partner team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping and executing strategies to build mindshare and promote the broad adoption of AWS services across our Italian partner community. Your primary focus will be on owning the technical engagement with strategic system integrators and consulting partners in the Italian market, while influencing the broader Europe South partner ecosystem.

We're looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:

• Deep technical expertise in software architecture and cloud computing
• Strong customer-facing skills, ideally gained within a partner organization
• The ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
• A track record of driving technical initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders (CIO, CTO, VP Engineering)
• Experience mentoring and raising the bar for technical teams

This role offers a high level of autonomy and great opportunities to learn and share best practices across countries. You'll be part of the France and Europe South team, collaborating with colleagues throughout the region.

Key job responsibilities

1. Act as a trusted technical advisor to our managed system integrators in France, supporting partner-led customer opportunities with architectural guidance and recommendations for successful engagements.
2. Champion AWS partners and assist solution providers in defining technical strategies to enhance their offerings on AWS — you should be as comfortable discussing cloud strategy with the CIO, TCO with the CFO, or continuous deployment with the DevOps team.
3. Drive partner technical maturity by guiding them to achieve AWS recognitions such as AWS Competencies, Service Deliveries, and Specializations.
4. Capture and share best practices with the broader Solution Architect community, contributing thought leadership and mentoring junior team members.
5. Evangelize AWS services and solutions to the Italian partner community through summits, workshops, product launches, and industry events.
6. Collaborate with internal teams (sales, partner managers, engineering) to ensure partner success and drive adoption of AWS services.
7. Contribute to the development of technical content, such as whitepapers, reference architectures, and solution briefs.
8. Participate in and lead complex technical discussions with partners and customers, proposing innovative solutions to business and technical challenges.
9. Influence the partner technical strategy at a regional level, contributing to cross-country initiatives and programs.

A day in the life

• Engage in strategic discussions with partner executives, aligning on cloud adoption strategies and driving them toward AWS Competencies and advanced specializations.
• Apply the "working backwards from the customer" approach to support partners on their customer opportunities, designing innovative solutions that address complex business needs.
• Conduct enablement sessions and hands-on workshops with partners and their customers, upskilling them on the latest AWS innovations and best practices.
• Support a partner's customer opportunity providing deep-dive guidance on architecture best practices and addressing complex technical challenges.
• Mentor other solutions architects and contribute to team-wide knowledge sharing and skill development.
• Author technical content and deliver public speaking engagements at AWS, industry, or partner events.
• Some travel may be required (within France and occasionally across Europe South and France).

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
• Experience in a customer-facing, partner-facing, or consulting role within a technology company or system integrator
• Experience migrating or transforming enterprise workloads to the public cloud (AWS preferred)
• Knowledge of modern application architectures: microservices, containers, serverless, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code
• Familiarity with AI/ML services and Generative AI use cases in enterprise environments
• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer, or Specialty certifications)
• Experience engaging with C-level executives (CIO, CTO, CFO) on cloud strategy and business transformation
• Track record of mentoring technical teams and contributing to community knowledge sharing
• Fluent in French and English; additional European languages are a plus
