Advocate Health is seeking a part-time medical laboratory professional for 28 hours per week, with 6pm-6am Saturday and Sunday night shifts and additional hours during the week on day or night shifts. Must hold an associate degree and MT L registry eligibility or equivalent, with MLT (ASCP/AMT) certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities include performing testing per QA guidelines, preparing reagents, managing inventory, and maintaining regulatory compliance with CAP/TJC/OSHA.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education and training in clinical laboratory science.
• MT L registry eligible or equivalent required.
• MLT (ASCP/AMT) certification or equivalent required within one year of hire.
• Certification through U.S. military medical laboratory training programs acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Perform testing following QA guidelines and document non-conformities.
• Prepare reagents and manage inventory to reduce waste.
• Exercise clinical judgment and troubleshoot with specialists when needed.
• Review and revise procedures to meet accreditation requirements (CAP/TJC/OSHA).
• Maintain clear shift communications with leadership.
• Participate in staff meetings and projects.
• Willingly perform all other duties as assigned.
