Cardinal Creek Residence in Orléans, Ontario seeks an Assistant Director of Care for evenings in a part-time capacity. You will lead nursing teams, shape care programs, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care in a compliant environment.

The role requires RN competence with leadership experience in long-term care; bilingual FR/EN is an asset. Competitive wages and robust benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse.
• Managerial experience in long-term care is an asset.
• Knowledge of evidence-based clinical practices and EHR systems.
• RAI-MDS – AIS knowledge is a plus; must be completed within 1 year if not.

Responsabilités

• Promote the organization’s mission and values; lead clinical programs.
• Provide direction to the nursing team; act as DOC in absence of the DOC.
• Develop and evaluate resident-focused programs; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor Clinical Leads; conduct regular chart audits for compliance.
• Contribute to annual Quality Improvement Plan development and tracking.
• Maintain resident rights and foster person-centered care.
