L.E.K. Consulting is seeking Life Sciences Associate Interns to join the European Life Sciences team. You will engage in commercial problem-solving across a variety of projects, developing a strong analytical skill set in a collaborative, team-based environment.

The role emphasizes rigorous research and analysis, with opportunities to work alongside experts and gain exposure to business strategy in the Life Sciences sector.

Qualifications

• Background in biosciences, medicine, engineering, biotechnologies, bioengineering, pharmacy, etc., with interest in economics and business strategy in Life Sciences.
• Fluency in French and English required; knowledge of another European language is a plus.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities and intellectual curiosity.

• Performing rigorous strategic and financial analyses using leading techniques to develop insights.

The Associate Intern position

Joining the European L.E.K. Life Sciences team will enable you to develop a world‑class foundation in commercial problem‑solving as you address the issues that face today’s business leaders. A wide variety of projects will give you experience of all aspects of commercial activity. The nature and pace of L.E.K.’s strategic work facilitates the rapid development of a highly analytical skill set in a collaborative and rewarding team‑based environment.

Who We Are Looking For

We are currently seeking exceptional and committed individuals with the ability to solve complex problems in a creative way with scientific backgrounds in biosciences, medicine, engineering, biotechnologies, bioengineering, pharmacy etc and with previous experience, studies or a strong interest into economics and business strategy related to the Life Sciences sector.

Successful candidates typically possess outstanding academic achievements, are comfortable with quantitative analysis, have fluent verbal and written communication skills in French and English, relevant professional experience, and notable extracurricular interests. Fluency in another European language is considered an asset.

We are looking for a sense of intellectual curiosity that will inspire you to develop a deep understanding of any client situation, and to generate innovative answers to complex questions. We want people with the ability to think in logical, structured ways, together with the creativity to look beyond the obvious.

The Life Sciences Associate Intern position at L.E.K. is a launch‑pad for your career. As a new Intern you will be supported with a comprehensive initial two‑week orientation programme. For those who go on to pursue roles in industry or Private Equity, the highly valuable commercial and analytical skill set, and broad commercial experience of an L.E.K. Associate Intern are in great demand.

Our application process is now open for Life Sciences Associate Interns starting in January 2027 for a period of 6 months.

Application deadline: 17th of October 2026 at 23:55 pm CET

Once the deadline is closed, the screening phase will start. Selected candidates will be contacted by our Recruitment Team by the end of April and invited to a numerical reasoning test followed by a series of interviews. Applicants stating 'fluency' in a language will have this assessed during the recruitment process. Please note that fluency in both French and English are a requirement for this position.
